Mother Hen™ is a complete, cloud-orchestrated monitoring system — combining rugged hardware, smart sensors, and AWS-powered intelligence to protect your flock 24/7.

• Bolt-On Door Plate with Built-In Limit Switch
  Pre-wired chicken door sensor — no separate bar. Just 6 bolts and it’s mounted.
  
• BTS-MP1 Human Door Sensors (Temp + Magnetic)
  4-screw install. Detects open/ajar + measures coop temperature. Add up to 4+ per coop.
  
• Walter Cellular Controller (Primary)
  No Wi-Fi needed. Sends SMS anywhere. Antenna included. Rated -20°C to +45°C.
• Wi-Fi Version (Coming)
  Lower-cost ESP32-S3 option for homes with strong 2.4 GHz signal.
• The Egg — Indoor Alert Beacon
  Wi-Fi, egg-shaped. Green (day), Blue (night), Red Flash + Squawk (problem). Up to 16 per coop.

  All logic, timing, and alerts happen in the cloud:
  • Sunrise/Sunset Calculation — Uses your exact GPS coordinates (e.g., 35.4834°N, 86.4603°W)

  • 30-Minute Grace Window — No false alarms from slow doors
